GUNDOGS

We run a range of different groups to suit different breeds of gundogs for their required jobs, as well as different levels depending on age and ability.

Our Gundog sessions are suitable for both clients who wish to enjoy and learn new skills with their pet or clients who wish to work their dog in the field.

PRIVATE 1-1 GUNDOG SESSIONS

We recommend having a 1-1 session initially prior to joining a Gundog group.

1-1 Gundog training is the best way to go about resolving any problems you are experiencing. Our exert team can help with any issues, such as delivery, steadiness and stop whistle.

Many clients choose 1-1 training as they prefer the lessons bespoke to their individual requirements.

SATISFIED OWNERS. HAPPIER DOGS.

At nearly 18 months old I thought I would always be walking my Labrador Jack on a harness and then I found Scovellsway. I booked a one to one with Wendy and the improvement was almost immediate. She suggested I try the gun dog intermediate group they had running and from then on I was hooked and 3 years later we're still going. We've learnt so much together and the feeling when it all comes together is a real buzz. This winter was our first 'dip' into the world of picking up and he loved it. All the steadiness training that we've done, blinds and marks proved we had been listening to 'teacher' in between talking Aga's, family and of course dogs. Myself and of course Jack recommend, what has become my second family, Scovellsway for all there training. A five star service. Well done to Annie and her team.

I went along today to the young gundog class with my six month old cocker spaniel Bertie. I was met with the friendliest of ladies in such a stunning location. The class was delivered so well and we already learnt so much just from today.
Highly recommend
Thank you all so much

Little fella did a great job yesterday so very proud (beating & picking up) Steady to birds running about in front of him, stayed put while birds were flying at him and being dropped! I would like to recommend Scovellsway and Annie Buckley for her advice and knowledge, a great trainer if you lucky enough to reside near Winchester and worth the traveling if you don’t. (A tad proud and excited for the times to come)

I go to their junior gundog classes and have always found the trainers to be very friendly and knowledgeable
